Overview
Dayprint is a local-first Android app designed to help you understand your app usage patterns through clear reports, timelines, and insights.
Your usage records and generated summaries are stored on your device. Dayprint does not require account registration and does not use cloud sync for your usage history.
What Dayprint Accesses
To provide its core features, Dayprint may access:
- Android Usage Access data, so it can read app usage statistics
- Basic app metadata, such as app names and package names
- Local app settings and preferences
- Subscription status provided by Google Play Billing
- Information you choose to include when contacting support by email
How This Data Is Used
Dayprint uses this data only to provide core app functions, including:
- Generating daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly reports
- Building timelines, trends, and behavior insights
- Saving your preferences, app exclusions, and category adjustments
- Checking and restoring subscription status through Google Play
- Responding to support requests you send by email
Data Storage
Dayprint stores your usage records, generated summaries, and most settings locally on your device.
Dayprint does not upload your usage history to our servers.
Data Security
Dayprint is designed to process usage data locally on your device. We do not operate cloud servers for storing your app usage history.
Local data security also depends on your device security settings, such as screen lock, operating system protections, backups, and any device-level sync settings configured by the user.
Data Sharing
Dayprint does not sell your personal data.
Dayprint does not use advertising SDKs.
Dayprint does not use third-party analytics SDKs to track your in-app behavior.
If you make a purchase, limited subscription-related information may be processed by Google Play in order to handle billing, renewals, cancellations, expiration, and purchase restoration.
Dayprint does not directly collect or store your full payment card information.
If you send us an email, the information in that message will be received and used only for support and communication purposes.
Website Analytics
The Dayprint website may use Google Analytics to understand website traffic and Google Play button clicks. This website analytics does not collect your in-app usage history.
Permissions
Dayprint may request the following permissions or access:
- Usage Access, used to generate reports and insights from app usage statistics
- Notification permission, used only if you enable reminders
You can revoke permissions at any time in your device settings. If Usage Access is revoked, some core features may no longer work.
Subscriptions and Payments
If you purchase Dayprint Pro, payments are processed by Google Play.
Dayprint does not directly collect or store your full payment card information.
Dayprint may receive limited subscription status information from Google Play, such as whether your subscription is active, expired, canceled, or restored.
Data Deletion
Dayprint provides an option to delete all local data from within the app.
Using this feature removes locally stored usage records and generated summaries from the device.
You can also remove locally stored data by clearing Dayprint’s app data in Android settings or uninstalling the app.
Children’s Privacy
Dayprint is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
